The Miyakoshi MEL semi-rotary UV printing press is an entry-level solution designed for label printers seeking high productivity and exceptional print quality at a controlled cost. Inspired by the MLP series, the MEL13A offers a maximum printing speed of 150 impressions per minute (approximately 49.5 m/min), with a web width of up to 350 mm and a maximum print width of 330 mm. It supports a wide range of paper weights from 50 to 265 g/m² and is compatible with various substrates, including clear-on-clear transparent films.
This press is equipped with a servo motor system that ensures exceptional color-to-color register accuracy and stability, even during speed fluctuations. It also includes a remote electronic inking control system, automatic ink roller cleaning system, oscillating roller cooler, register monitoring camera, and an advanced cold start function. Optional modules available include flatbed screen printing, embossing, varnishing, laminating, and both hot and cold foil stamping units, providing maximum flexibility to meet diverse customer needs.
